Two of posters do have a condition issue in the middle where it’s been folded, and has been taped behind up in a couple of places from the back. It is the last picture in the lot and it is on the poster costumes of the 18th century designed by Jay Stearns for Eaves costume Company Inc. and Costumes of the 19th century designed by Jay Stearns for eaves costume company.
All posters have been folded and put into a folder for several years but seem to be in acceptable condition
there are two booklets from Brooks-Van Horn costumes New York, These appear to be identical and there are 10 plates in each, The cover says a condensed, pictorial history of costumes.
2 posters are from Lysistrata by Aristophanes drawn for the eaves costume company by Noel Taylor, Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 Athens Greece 411 BC
One of the posters is for The Miser by Molière designed for eaves costume company by John Boyt
One of the posters states sheet one it is called an Italian straw hat by Eugene Labiche drawn for eaves costume company by James Hart Stearns
I am including in this lot a folder red and white that state costumes by Eaves -it was the folder that most of these posters were Houston so I’m going to keep it with the lot.
