Handsome fold-out 1963-64 edition of the official highway map of Nova Scotia, printed more than 56 years ago.
This map opens to 16" x 40" and has great detail on old highway alignments, at a time when many of the roads in the province were still unpaved, including parts of the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island.
There are inset plans of Halifax and Sydney on the reverse side, along with a list of ship connections to Maine, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Massachusetts, and the Magdalen Islands.
The map was published by the Nova Scotia Travel Bureau, Department of Trade and Industry. It was printed in Halifax and is dated 1963-64 on the cover.
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with a small spot in the vicinity of Oxford and
no
